Mayday Parade Collab with Every Avenue
It appears Mayday Parade is working on some new music, with Dave Strauchman of Every Avenue nonetheless. Every Avenue has called it quits, but it’s good to hear that Dave will still be sharing his musical talent. Check out a tweet from Mayday Parade’s Jake Bundrick confirming the collaboration:
What do you guys think? Who’s excited for the new song?!
Every Avenue Guitarist Launches Kickstarter For EP
Jimmie Deeghan, guitarist from Every Avenue, has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the release of his solo EP. Check out what Jimmie had to say:
I’ve been writing songs since I was 16 years old… since that time I’ve been lucky enough to tour around the world with 4 of my best friends in a band called ‘Every Avenue’ non-stop for the past 5 years. I’ve recently relocated from MI to Nashville, TN where I finally have some time to sit down with my guitar and start compiling/writing all of these new ideas that I’d really love to take into a LEGIT studio where they can reach there absolute full potential.
In 2010 I recorded my very first EP titled ‘Pretty Miserable’ with my friend Chris Cron (Melee). Luckily I had some very talented and helpful friends that assisted me with ‘Pretty Miserable’ for nothing more than the experience and some quality late night hanging out. We basically did everything to the best of our abilities with gear set up everywhere inside of a house that nobody was living in out in California… here’s a music video that came from that first EP directed by my buddy Dan Fusselman.

Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Jonathan Weber (vocals), Frankie Mastrangelo (guitar & vocals), Dylan Magliocco (guitar), Adam Vuletich (bass), and David Baum (drums), are the boys that make up the energetic and infectious pop punk band, Yours Truly. The band recently streamed their newest EP, Down For the Count, on their Facebook page and has since received nothing but praise from the online music community and even press from AP Magazine. In addition to opening for Breathe Carolina, Yours Truly will be playing an acoustic set alongside Craig Owens tomorrow at The Pike Room and then later opening for Every Avenue and Hit the Lights in Toledo, Ohio. The band differs from the generic brand of pop punk and has a fun, energetic style all their own complete with love-ridden lyrics and pitch-perfect vocals that will sure to have you singing along.
