The Casualties Releases New Full-Length Entitled “Resistance”

Street punkers The Casualties released a new studio album today on the normally metal-focused label Season of Mist.  This album is the long-running band’s 9th full–length, following up their last release, 2009’s “We Are All We Have”.  The album continues the unchanging style that has characterized all of their music, aggressive hardcore street punk with heavy crossover thrash influence.  The lyrics concern modern politics and social situations, with “South East Asian Rebels” being a song about the human rights violations in Malaysia last year, where punks were arrested without charges to be turned into ‘normal citizens’.

The album can be streamed for free on Spotify and Youtube, with digital copies on iTunes and Amazon and CD and vinyl versions being available on Season of Mist’s website.

The band toured this past summer on the Tonight We Unite Tour, bringing Nekromatix, Down By Law, Lower Class Brats, Flatfoot 56, and The Sheds along for the ride.
